Frequently Asked Questions

Whether it is a bridal shower or a reunion with your friends & family, The Cape May Day Spa is a perfect choice for making your trip the most relaxing and fun ever. Here are some frequently asked questions & our suggestions:

How well in advance do we need to book?

The groups are recommended to call well in advance….even several months ahead, especially if they are planning their spa retreat on weekends.

How shall we go about making the reservations?

Most often, a group assigns one person – a group coordinator – to make the reservations for them, or the individual persons can call themselves to assure their preferences. Please remember, if you call individually, we will treat it as such – we cannot guarantee that your appointment will be within your group's time frame.

The group coordinator compiles a list of your guests' names and the services each would like. Fax or email us with the completed list, the date desired, the contact person for the group, and the credit card information for the deposit. You may wish to call with the credit card information, instead.

What happens next?

After we receive your list, we will try to schedule the services within the same time frames.

We will then fax or email the proposed itinerary back to you, along with the cancellation and deposit information (usually 50%) as it pertains to your group. We usually allow 4 to 5 business days to view the schedule before we bill the card.

Can we just reserve a time block at the spa?

Sorry. As the availability of certain services is limited, we have to reserve specific appointments (i.e. specific type of massage), not just a time block.

What is the cancellation policy?

For groups, we require that any changes, cancellations, or movement of appointments occur before 10:00 am fourteen (14) days before the service date. Any individual bookings have 24 hr cancellation period. We charge in full for all appointments not taken.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

We do serve light refreshments to spa parties – fruit plates with cheese & crackers and Chai Tea. As we try to preserve spa ambiance for both your party and other clients, we do not encourage bringing any outside refreshments. Sorry, no alcohol or smoking is allowed on the spa premises.
