Whether it is a bridal shower or a reunion with your friends & family, The Cape May Day Spa is a perfect choice for making your trip the most relaxing and fun ever. Here are some frequently asked questions & our suggestions:

How Well In Advance Do We Need To Book?

The groups are recommended to call well in advance, especially if they are planning their spa retreat on weekends.

How Shall We Go About Making The Reservations

Most often, a group assigns one person – a group coordinator – to make the reservations for them, or the individual persons can call themselves to assure their preferences. Please remember, if you call individually, we will treat it as such – we cannot guarantee that your appointment will be within your group’s time frame.

The group coordinator compiles a list of your guests’ names and the services each would like. Fax or email us with the completed list, the date desired, the contact person for the group, and the credit card information for the deposit. You may wish to call with the credit card information, instead. A credit card can be used to hold an appointment. Groups may be required to submit a deposit.

What Happens Next?

After we receive your list, we will try to schedule the services within the same time frames.

We will email the proposed itinerary back to you, along with the cancellation policy and deposit information as it pertains to your group.

Can we Just Reserve A Time Block At The Spa?

Sorry. As the availability of certain services is limited, we have to reserve specific appointments (i.e. specific type of massage), not just a time block.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

For groups, we require that any changes, cancellations, or movement of appointments occur before 10:00 am seven (7) days before the service date. Any individual bookings have 24 hr cancellation period. We charge in full for all appointments not taken.

Can We Bring Our Own Food & Drinks?

We do serve light refreshments to spa parties of 8 and more guests – fruit plates with cheese & crackers and Chai Tea. As we try to preserve spa ambiance for both your party and other clients, we encourage bringing “non-aromatic” refreshments. We are BYOB.

Some Reminders:

  • Our boutique spa is on 607 Jefferson Street (corner of Columbia Ave) in Cape May.
  • Our hydro-therapy services: the steam, baths and whirlpools, are booked as individual, therapeutic services. There is no co-ed steam room or showers on the premises. This will help you plan us into your stay accordingly.
  • We recommend that you refrain from eating or consuming alcohol one hour before services, especially massages & body treatments.
  • We provide robes and slippers for your time with us. Please come with little to no make-up or jewelry. We have individual lockers for your belongings.
  • We are a boutique spa and there will be other patrons while you are here with us. We kindly request soft voices and discretion.
  • If you do decide to bring a small snack tray or drinks, please be mindful of others. No aromatic foods please. You may be sharing the space with other guests
  • Please make sure that everyone is notified of the cancellation policy and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment times. Regrettably, we bill in full for late arrivals or missed appointments.
  • We accept cash, all major credit cards, Spa Finder, Spa Wish, and Spa Week gift certificates.
  • Gift Cards do not expire, are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for gratuities. The Cape May Day Spa & Holistic Center is not responsible for unauthorized use or loss of a Gift Card.
  • There are no refunds on products or gift cards. Products can be exchanged for up to seven days if not opened.
